Welcome to a New Kind of Group Experience

Are You Ready to Take Your Growth to the Next Level?

This Process Group isn’t about following a set curriculum. It’s a unique space where participants bring their experiences, explore personal challenges, and learn through meaningful interactions with others. Inspired by the work of Irvin Yalom, a pioneer in group therapy, this group offers a setting that encourages self-discovery, open expression, and profound change.

Who Is This Group For?

  • Those who have experience with therapy and are ready to build upon that foundation.
  • Individuals seeking a structured yet open-ended group setting to deepen personal insights and improve relational dynamics.
  • People who value personal growth and are eager to learn from others on a similar path.

What Makes This Group Unique?

Unlike a typical support group, this process group is based on Yalom’s principles of organic growth and real-time connection. Members come without a strict agenda, allowing discussions to unfold naturally, driven by participants’ curiosities, challenges, and personal goals.

Here’s What You Can Expect:

  • Weekly Meetings: Thursdays from 9 AM to 10:30 AM PST / Noon to 1:30 PM EST
  • Flexible Commitment: A 12-week initial commitment, after which you can continue on a month-to-month basis.
  • Supportive Setting: Open discussions and genuine support from individuals as dedicated to change as you are.

Hi, I'm Susan Regan...

I'm a relationship expert and certified coach.

I have over twenty-five years of experience as a marriage & family therapist. My passion lies in helping individuals deepen their self-understanding and relational skills in a supportive group setting. Through this process group, I offer guidance in personal growth, navigating life changes, and enhancing relational dynamics. Together, we work to overcome past patterns, foster authentic connections, and create fulfilling relationships with ourselves and others.

Key Principles of the Group (Inspired by Irvin Yalom)

Why this Process Group is Different:

  • Universality: Discovering that we’re not alone in our struggles creates an incredible sense of relief and connection.
  • Interpersonal Learning: Through observing and interacting with others, members gain insight into their own relational patterns.
  • Instillation of Hope: Witnessing others’ progress builds hope and inspires members to believe in their own capacity for change.
  • Emotional Catharsis: Sharing openly in a supportive space can lead to emotional release, strengthening bonds and aiding healing.
  • Socializing Skills: The group is a place to practice new ways of relating, receiving feedback, and building confidence.
  • Existential Reflection: By confronting life’s fundamental questions, members can develop a stronger sense of purpose and self-understanding.
  • Altruism: Supporting and uplifting each other brings a profound sense of fulfillment and reinforces the healing process.
  • Self-Reflection and Insight: Regular reflection encourages members to gain greater awareness of their motivations and behaviors.
  • Group Cohesiveness: A strong sense of belonging promotes trust, vulnerability, and genuine connections.
  • Here-and-Now Focus: This approach encourages members to engage fully in the present, fostering real-time insight and growth.
